At Se dagens lys, art, design and social perspectives come together as students explore how we can rethink our relationship with materials, nature and the worlds we create around us.
Se dagens lys imagines a world that resembles our own, but where something has shifted. Where different choices have been made, and where the world may be more sustainable and a little less unbearable.
Symposium: What choices shape our world?
In conjunction with the exhibition, we invite you to a symposium exploring sustainability and materials from three different perspectives.
Rune Bosse, artist, will draw on his artistic practice to explore the relationship between materials, nature and sustainability.
Signe Wenneberg, journalist and advocate for green issues, will focus on demolition and the need for a paradigm shift in how we build and manage resources.
gruppe-aja, design collective, will turn its attention to the value of materials and the significance of material choices in the design process.
Together, we will open up questions about what we value, what we choose to preserve, and how art, design, architecture and political perspectives can contribute to a more sustainable world.
Everyone is welcome
The exhibition and symposium are part of Krabbesholm Højskole’s multi-year project Bærekraft (Sustainability), supported by the Nordea Foundation. The project aims to integrate sustainability into the school’s teaching, workshops and broader educational approach.
We look forward to welcoming you.
The Bærekraft project is supported by Nordea-fonden.
